Ways of Qlik Sense Collaboration

So, following are the three ways for Qlik Sense Collaboration –

i. Qlik Sense Data Storytelling

The data storytelling in Qlik Sense provides how to present data insights as a sort of a compelling story through which users understand the aim of study, the insights are drawn from the analysis using the given data, and what conclusion must be derived from the analysis done. Qlik Sense provides a really interactive dashboard to make the story easily. Every Visualization in Qlik Sense that you simply use is linked to the first analysis sheet, where you’ll redirect from the story view to the complete analysis view providing all the intricate details.

Qlik Sense Data Storytelling manifests the concept of Qlik Sense Collaboration alright, as during a story collective efforts and insights of all those that are a neighbourhood of the analysis are put and therefore the story is made to be shared with others. In Qlik Sense, the most elements of a story are the insights that you simply collect within the sort of snapshots of the visualizations present on a sheet. you’ll access the snapshots from a set of them and edit them accordingly to use them within the story. Also, within the stories, you’ll insert live or real-time data sheets into the slides during which the users can make selections and interact with the info outcomes.

Every story is comprised of two main elements, snapshots, and live data sheets.

• The snapshots are just like the screenshots that you simply take of the visualization once they are during a particular state. The snapshots store a visualization during a particular state which doesn’t change with the selections made within the sheet. Although, each snapshot is linked to its actual real-time visualization or chart residing within the sheet which you’ll access from the story.

• You can use the live data sheets within the story which allows you to interact with the charts and make selections in them. Upon making selections on the live data sheets, the info information on the charts change as per the selections made within the story view. you are doing not need to attend the sheet view from the story view to form selections within the charts.

To create a story, attend the story icon within the toolbar of the sheet view.

ii. Publishing

Another way of knowledge collaboration is sharing your Qlik Sense apps with other through publishing them in streams. a knowledge stream may be a collection of all the published apps that each one the authorized users have access to. Ideally, a user publishes an app into a stream when the app is prepared and designed. Although, a user can always edit the published app and republish it if they need to.

When an app is published, it’s locked for everybody else apart from the user who published it. nobody else can edit the sheets and stories of the published app, however, they will interact with the charts by making selections and drawing insights into data consistent with them.

Publishing apps are done a touch differently in Qlik Sense Enterprise version. There, the administrator has the rights to publish an app via the Qlik Management Console. Also, the users who have created the apps, can publish them on the hub and share them between different streams. However, publishing apps are within the bounds of Qlik Sense and therefore the sharing of apps happens only between the Qlik Sense platforms.

iii. Exporting and Printing
You can export Qlik Sense apps, sheets, stories or visualizations as pdf or excel files and printed for uses external to Qlik Sense. you’ll export the visualizations or sheets individually then print them from your device.
If you would like to export a visualization or chart, then right-click on the visualization, attend the Export option.
